This Blue-eyed girl is Skylar a 2-year-old 45lb Siberian Husky. Skylar is a real sweetie!  She loves her foster parents and is friendly with everyone including he foster families other dogs large and small. She also likes to cuddle and give lots of kisses.

 Skyler is an active dog, so her perfect Furever Home would be a house with a yard (Required) a dynamic a family with older children, sportsman, athletic.  She loves playing so another dog would be perfect for her. (not Required)Skylar would make a great companion for a very active person.  She does love going on bike rides with her foster mom.

Skylar does walk well on a leash but is still working on her basic manners. She is crate trained, but she does need continued structure and training. Skylar loves going out to stores, Farmers Markets loves people and dogs!   

Skylar is Heart-worm Positive, and he is currently in treatment which the Rescue pays for. So, we are looking for Family/Persons who live in the Sarasota/Venice/Northport/ Fort Meyers Area (south of Bradenton) so she can complete her  treatments at Lee County Animal Services.
